Creative Writing: Poetry through Letters 04/26

Dear Poet,

You may not feel comfortable calling yourself a poet, but if you like to, or even want to, write poetry, you certainly are! And for us poets, April is a special time across the world, as we celebrate National Poetry Month. As a bonus, April is also National Letter Writing Month—and what could be more perfect than combining two passions that celebrate the coupling of paper and pen? 

This session, open to all 16 and older, will celebrate poetry by playing with forms of letter-writing: odes, apostrophes, and confessional poems. Do not fear the fancy names: We will simply be playing with words and images how we see fit, with open minds and celebratory hearts! 

All you need to participate is the desire; we will provide the rest.
