Wax Seal Making 02/01

This course is for anyone who has ever wanted to know how to create beautiful wax seal embellishments, no experience necessary. During this two-hour interactive workshop, participants will learn the basics to get​ ​started with creating beautiful wax seals for envelopes or decoration.

We’ll begin​ ​with a brief overview of the techniques, tips for getting started, tips and rules for mailing​ ​envelopes with seals, and then dive right into learning how to create the wax seals, including how to add beautiful embellishments such​ ​as dried florals.

Each participant will receive a wax seal starter kit​ ​with including a wax warmer and spoon, a variety​ ​of wax seal beads, and a set of double-sided​ ​stickers to make self-adhesive wax seals.

During the workshop, participants will be able to​ ​choose from a variety of wax stamps provided by the instructor, to create their wax​ ​seals, including monogram, florals, holiday, thank you and others. Participants who​ ​have mail ready for adding wax seals are encouraged to bring their own items.

Class recommended for ages 16 and above. Each workshop is hosted in our San Antonio shop and studio, unless otherwise noted. Space is limited for each workshop, and seats are sold on a first come, first served basis. All workshop sales are final and non-refundable.
