**IN-STORE WORKSHOP**

Creative Writing: Continuing the Craft

Whether you have been writing for a lifetime or are just considering what writing creatively means to you, we are once again gathering to harness our collective creative forces in the pursuit of telling stories, whatever form they take. We will start with the fundamental question of How do I start? and go from there. We will build upon the core ingredients of powerful writing, consider what it means to craft our writing, and discuss how to maintain momentum, with feedback from group members who have ongoing practices. We will also explore genre and form with greater specificity, as we consider the most impactful “containers” for our particular work. 

Along with writing exercises, we will take time to get into our writing bubbles and/or exchange our work for peer feedback. To this end, participants may have with them poetry or prose pieces in progress, whether on paper or laptops. Returning participants should have their Mondo Notebooks and Beauty Journals for possible sharing!

Each workshop is hosted in the Belle & Union San Antonio shop and studio, unless otherwise noted. Space is limited for each workshop, and seats are sold on a first come, first served basis. This session is open to all of those 16 or older looking for a safe space in which to foster their writing practice. All workshop sales are final and non-refundable.
